Description: We grow giant pumpkins here in northwest pa as a little hobbie and this year we are selling some seeds out of our 847lb giant pumpkin. Our proceeds will go back into the garden for next year as growing giants is a big expense.For germination I always reccomend to start inside on a warming mat at 70-80 degrees. The seeds do not have a 100% germination rate so it’s always smart with giants to start more than you want. For example if I want two plants I always start four and then if they all grow I can pick what ones are growing better or if one dies when first put in the ground you have some to fall back on.
