[INSTALLATION] Simple Installation: The inline water line filter comes with built-in 1/4” quick connect ports on both ends for plastic or copper water lines using 1/4” inch lines. Just remove the tubes from the old filter and push the tubings into the new replacement filter. [QUICK] 2" x 10" with 1/4" quick connect ends for quick install and removal. Filter Changing Instructions 1. Turn off the water supply line valve to the reverse osmosis system. Close the ball valve on the reverse osmosis storage tank. Open the reverse osmosis faucet and allow the pressure in the system to bleed off. 2. Disconnect tubing from inline filter ONE END AT A TIME by pressing down on the collet of the quick connect fitting. If the filter has a fitting on the end, remove and reuse that fitting on the new filter. 3. When one end of the tubing is free, insert it into the new filter fitting. Keep in mind the inline filter is directional. The directional arrow is indicated on the filter and make sure the new filter is inserted in the same direction as the one being removed. 4. Do the same for the other end. Make sure both ends are secured with tubings/fittings. 5. Slowly turn on the water supply line valve until you hear water entering the system. Check for any leaks. 6. Turn on water supply line all the way. Allow filling until a steady drip flows from the reverse osmosis faucet. 7. Open the valve on storage tank. Check for any leaks. Note: The inline filter is recommended to be changed along with RO membrane together.
