It has THE softest touch I've ever knitted. I also have Loro Piana yarn, but IMO I prefer Cariaggi. Knitting and working this yarn/hood is a long process, but the result is a gorgeous fabric that will last for years if taken care of properly. Beanie was hand knit by me! Once upon a time I had an Etsy shop where I sold my hand knit items, but then closed it down. Now I'm Ebay selling more variety of what ever strikes my fancy :) Washing Instructions:Soak then hand wash in warm-ish water. Squeeze water out, then towel squeeze, then let air dry. Do not machine wash, this will only shrink the beanie.
