11" Antique Gebruder Heubach "Pouty" Character Doll, c. 1910 (Doll-35)

Description: **** my original listing on this doll had an error so I relisted it with correct information **** This beautiful doll is mold 6970 and is a closed mouth "pouty" dollwith beautiful blue glass working sleeping eyes. She has a bisque swivel head and jointed composition body. There are no cracks on the porcelain and the paint is perfect. The body has a tiny defect in the composition on the chest as well as what looks like a pin hole from dressing her for display. All the fingers are intact. The clothing and wig are original to the doll but the shoes have been replaced. The clothing is in good condition without stains, holes or tears. The wig has a cute little German girl coiled braids style. Markings on the head show model "6970" as well as "Germany" and "1" . There is an ink stamp on the body back.
