This was CAD designed and manufactured for use with the obsolete 110 film format that became popular in the 1970s. This negative holder will also work with 16 mm movie films. According to Plustek and other sources, this holder should fit the following Plustek Opticfilm models: 7200, 7200i, 7200i SE, 7300, 7400, 7500i, 7500i SE, 7500i AI, 7600i SE, 7600i AI, 8100, 8200i SE, and 8200i AI. Please be certain to measure one of your OEM Plustek holders against the measurements of this holder as listed below. If you find the measurements of your OEM holder are larger in any dimension than below (except length), please do not purchase this holder (and a subsequent message to me about possible incompatibility would be very much appreciated). Please note that second photo above shows two halves of the same holder. These are assembled together to hold your film for scanning. Specifications for the 110 negative holder: Overall: 217 x 62 mm Material: plastic Assembled thickness: 6.7 mm Features: Unlike some designs, this holder features a recessed channel to hold your negative strip firmly which can help avoid scratches or trapped dust that other holders may cause. Important: This 110 film holder is designed specifically for the Plustek Opticfilm film scanners where the user manually advances the film for scanning. This is not designed for models that automatically advance the film strip. SPECIAL NOTE FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Ebay has recently changed rules for international buyers. This is why they are so inexpensive compared to other commercially produced options. Each holder is custom made and may contain spot sanding and other finishing marks. I do my best to clean my products up cosmetically, but due to sales volume I simply can't spend a lot of time on it. My main concern is that it works like it is supposed to. As a result, if you are reselling please be aware that you may need to do some more finishing work suitable for a retail environment. - Aftermarket holders for odd film sizes will usually require the ability to manually scan film strips with "thumbnail" modes turned off. Depending on your model and software, masking of individual frames for scanning may be necessary for the best results. Please ensure you know how to set your scanner/software for full manual control. Simply pushing a green button on the front of your scanner (common with Epson models) to scan a film strip will not work with most aftermarket film holders. - Please pay particular attention to the "handling" days before shipping as noted above. I do not typically maintain an inventory of my film holders as most are custom made upon order placement. As such, I ask for 5 business days handling before shipping.
