His flock is made up of Black Betty, Bam-ba-lam, Roxy, Flapjack, and Dori. Each little guy knows their name and comes running back to the coop when I whistle for them. Our chickens free range every day for hours, before being safely whistled back to their home. We have a 5 hen to 1 rooster ratio. This keeps our fertility rate high and our chickens happy.
