Description: 16 Gauge Shotgun Snap Caps - this auction is for a total of 4 shotgun snap caps. These shotgun snap caps, contain no powder, or primers, but they will chamber, look and feel just like they should. They are weighed with lead, but cannot fire, nor can they ever be made to fire. These snap caps are intended to be used as a training or practice aid for loading, dry fire, cycling, and unloading your 16-gauge shotgun. These 16-gauge snap caps are a 2 3/4-inch-long cartridge, for shotguns with 2 3/4 chambers. These are new commercial that have been sized, filled with fiber and lead, and had the primer pocket plugged. You can visually tell they are inert, as the primer pocket is plugged with an orange poly. A standard 16 Gauge 3/4 oz target load will weigh about 1.1 ounce per shell, these snap caps will weigh around 1 ounce. Poly and Fiber weigh less than powder and primers, and these snap caps contain a 3/4-ounce lead slug instead of lead shot. Just in case someone breaks 1, you won't have lead shot on the floor!
