Known as the "he" Bible because of the misprint at Ruth 3:15 [see photo] where it says "he went into the city" instead of "she" as Bro. For example note the Title Page of the NEW TESTAMENT has the TETRAGRAMMATON or God's Divine Name JEHOVAH at the very top !!! Note this is in the NEW TESTAMENT where God's Name Jehovah is not found in most translations. However in 1611 people knew about the NAME. Also note the Title page of the Old Testament ALSO has the TETRAGRAMMATON at the very top [please see photos as proof]. And note at the beginning of Exodus Chap .4 has God's Divine Name written as "IEHOVAH" and elsewhere such as Psalm 83:18 as "IEHOVAH" in beautiful Gothic Roman script. This Bible's measurements are 8 x 5 1/2 in. In June of 1999 a First Edition 1611 King James Bible sold for over $350,000 at Sotheby's Auction House in New York. It is not unusual for early English language Bibles from the 1500"s & 1600"s to sell for over $100,000 A pristine copy is very difficult to find and the more complete the text and binding the more expensive.
