Description: 1\72 plastic model kitIBG Models 72108 Centaur Mk.IV British Tank Tank A27L Centaur The Centaur IV is a British tank produced after World War II, but it can also be classified as a tracked self-propelled artillery unit. The main armament is a 95 mm howitzer, and the secondary armament is two machine guns. During production, about 115 machines of this type were manufactured. The Centaur tank was developed for the British Army as a successor to the not very successful Crusader. When designing a new vehicle, for the first time it was decided to use a universal cannon in a British tank, capable of both destroying enemy equipment and surface targets. The first Centaur tanks with outdated Liberty engines rolled off the Rover assembly line under the designation A27L. A total of five modifications of this vehicle were created, of which only the Centaur IV version was used in battle. He entered combat in Normandy in 1944 as part of an armored support group of the Royal Marines. It should also be remembered that the Centaur vehicles (after replacing the engine) gave rise to the successful medium tanks of the Cromwell type. 1\72 plastic model kit IBG Models 72108 Centaur Mk.IV British Tank Tank A27L Centaur All Items new in factory box All kits - unassembled, unpainted.
