This Stubben Maestoso Dressage saddle has become a stable in many barns, as Stubben found the perfect combination with this model-comfort, security, close contact, and looks. This lovely saddle offers a seat that measures and fits true to 17.5", making this a great option for many riders while still offering a deep seat and narrow twist. 31cm per the serial number, which is Stubben's Medium Wide. Fitting on the wide side of medium wide with a more A Framed gullet shape. It does measure wide at 5", however the tree shape would be best for a strong withered, wide shouldered horse. Has a wider channel, which will support a wider and sprung back well. Has DL flaps which are dressage length flaps that are semi-forward that measure 16". This one has a bold upper block with deeper knee rolls, offering great leg support without being intrusive. Shorter sweat flap to improve the feel of your leg--a very popular feature of this model. 20" upswept panel and is wool flocked. Flocking is in great condition. Overall, this saddle has been very well cared for and frankly has seen very little ride time. The flaps show very faint leather marks. Given the age of this saddle, the condition is incredible! Has a low/quasi front point billet. The billets are great, but naughty puppies are well....naughty. One of the near side billets is missing about 2" of its end thanks to said puppy. Rest of the billet is fine and frankly its so little damage on an otherwise sound billet, its not worth the replacement. Lovely, quality saddle that offers an incredibly comfortable ride!
