Description: 1795 Colonial Talbot, Allum & Lee Cent A very collectible and nice colonial coin included in the Colonial section of the USA Red Book. Talbot, Allum & Lee engaged in the India trade located at 241 Pearl St. New York, placed a large number of these English made coppers into circulation in the Colonies during 1794 & 1795. Many of these were cut down and used as planchettes for the 1795 and 1797 USA half cents. An integral part of our historic coinage! Please see my other items!
