Although Judah is not guilty and receives no trial, he is sent to the Roman galleys for life; his mother and sister are imprisoned in a Roman jail, where they contract leprosy; and all the family property is confiscated. Ben-Hur is freed after three years when he saves the life of a Roman military commander. Ben-Hur, his mother, and sister decide to look for Christ in the hopes that his mother’s and sister’s leprosy will be cured. Upon finding Christ, their leprosy is cured and all three convert to Christianity. CONDITION: This Book is in good condition. Book shows normal fairly minor sign of storage & age. Tight binding, clean text. The cover is worn and a bit scuffed. Pages have turned yellow from age. Foxing to paper commensurate with age. Endpapers at the front and at the back of the book are stained. The edges and corners are worn. Bumped cover corners. Please see pictures.
