Description: 1803 DRAPED BUST DOLLAR ANACS VERY FINE 35 LARGE 3 BB-255 B-6 HIGHLY LUSTROUS as expected of a higher grade. Appealing patina in light golden amber, a bit deeper on the reverse, and some blue grey ashen tone at the obverse top periphery. Well struck for the most part, with some lack of definition at the hairline and temple, apparently the trade off for a full reverse motto and shield.There is what appears to be a textile pattern of tone across the forehead and quite subtly across the obverse. Appropriately, if not conservatively graded, in my opinion.
