Description: Available for sale is a beautiful example of an 1839 Seated Liberty Dime 10C coin that has been professionally graded by PCGS to be a mint state 62. This 1839 Seated Liberty Dime is a rare "No Drapery" variety meaning that it does not feature any drapery folds beneath Lady Liberty's left elbow. The main difference between the Seated Liberty Dime 10C "No Drapery" and the standard "With Drapery" (which is usually not noted) version is that the No Drapery version lacks drapery folds beneath Liberty's left elbow. The No Drapery version is also about three times less common than the With Drapery version. Since it's grading by PCGS, this coin has received the coveted "gold CAC sticker" which is a highly coveted distinction for any graded U.S. coin. This signifies that the coin has exceeded the Certified Acceptance Corporation's (CAC) already stringent standards for its grading and is almost unheard of especially for a recently graded coin like this one is. Lastly, this coin comes housed in a newer PCGS holder which features their cutting edge Gold Shield technology. Please view all photos carefully. Multiple high quality photos have been taken of this item so please use that as the detailed description.
