Pages 318-327 contain a Congressional Argument by Several Members in regards to Slavery, Free Labor against Slave Labor. Also included is Secretary of War, Jefferson Davis, Report for the year 1854. Many issues of the Day were discussed, reported and documented during this session of cogress. Sen. Salmon P. Chase and Sen. Charles Sumner are a couple of notable names mentioned in the book. 440 pages and measures 11 5/8" x 9". Last photo will show the edge of pages with a 50/50 mix of browned pages and white.
