Description: This is a better date Morgan Silver Dollar, an 1889-O certified and graded by ANACS as EF 45. The coin has a natural light gray patina with a good bit of natural mint luster shining through. Contact marks are surprisingly few and light (I would love to have acquired this coin uncirculated!). The coin has ever so slightly too much even wear to be AU, so I agree with the grade, but it has exceptional eye appeal for the grade. This is a high mintage date with far fewer surviving AU and BU examples than you would expect from the mintage figure.
