It was designed by James B. Longacre and minted in Philadelphia with no mint mark. The coin’s obverse features the profile of a Native American facing left, wearing a feathered headdress with the word “LIBERTY” inscribed on the band. The reverse side depicts a wreath made of oak leaves and acorns surrounding the words “ONE CENT” and the year “1890” . The NUMISMATIC RARITY of this coin is R-6.5-8.0.
