Elgin Model 4, Grade 96 size 18, Class 6 seven jewel movement dating to 1896.It is an open face watch with a lovely etched Defiance silver case with a Steam Engine Locomotive Train on the back.The beveled glass crystal is clear, The only thing to note is a tight line in the white dial (see photos) The movement is serial number 2496888The case measures 2 1/8" in diameter or 55mm not including the winding stem.
