Photographed at Stockholm Sweden in 1906 by the documentary photographer Charles Medin. Taken during his youthful Grand Tour of Europe. The date and locale were retrieved from his scrupulous notes. Commissioned on June 21, 1907, the HSwMS Fylgia was the smallest true armored cruiser in the world when commissioned.Charles Medin was artist/photographer and then assistant editor of the Illinois Central Magazine, circa 1900s to 1949. His images are well-known to railfans as he documented railroads and city street scenes across the Eastern & Southern states.**Multiple negatives purchased at same time ship for the price of one** Negative Measures 3.125 x 4.125 Inches.
