Description: 1909 Oversized Cabinet Photo of ID’d California Standard Oil Men This is a great large cabinet photo that is fully identified and dated on the back. Photo measures about 8 1/8 inches by 6 inches. Outer dimensions with mat are 11 by 8 ¾ inches. Shows a group of men who apparently worked for Standard Oil in Richmond, Calif. One is holding a brush and a bucket. Dated on back June 1909. The men are identified on the back - please see high resolution scans. San Francisco Photographer is stamped on back - Standard View Vo., 1816 McCallister St., S.F. Mat has hole in upper top that does not affect photo itself. Lower right of mat is chipped and corners of mat are bumped. Mat has a crease on back near lower margin. Has light scratch on surface of photo and slight edge tear in background of photo near upper left. Toning is uneven, but it was likely originally produced this way. Please keep an eye on my other auctions. I will be listing more pocket watches, Western Americana, and historical items. CA residents must pay sales tax or prove resale info. Sorry, no returns unless something is accidentally misrepresented.
