Description: A beautiful and unusual instrument. I've not ever seen another. Has just been gone over and had neck reset and braces re glued by noted Oscar Schmidt luthier Dan Lambert. Plays great now, and sounds like a 12 string guitar sounds in comparison it a 6 string... richer/fuller/more interesting. Plain Koa body and mahogany neck, rope binding on top edge and sound hole as well as the back strip, beautiful original finish with checking. 2 long back cracks that are sealed and flat. Probably other cracks that have been repaired so well that they are difficult to see. Original(?) friction tuners with pearl dots on either end. Original bridge. Original ebony nut. New strings. So lightly built that it weighs less than 1 pound (13 oz., to be exact). No case. Shipping to continental US. Off mainland would be international shipping rate.
