Description: This leather-bound book was printed for the University of Wisconsin's Commencement Week in 1926. The book measures about 4-1/2 inches wide, 6 inches tall, and 3/8 inch thick. It has a deep navy blue leather binding and pages are "punched" and held together with a leather tie that knots on the front cover. Also on the front cover are an embossed campus scene with silver-tone background, the UW motto, and "1926". The first page Inside the front and back covers is a thin dark tissue paper with an imprinted spiderweb pattern. Numerous pages include photographs of Glenn Frank, President UW, the UW campus, and Madison scenes, as well as the schedule for commencement week, and extensive lists of the graduates in each discipline. It was interesting to look through this and see all the names and hometowns, mostly in the MidWest. I It is in good antique condition for a book almost 100 years old. The binding and pages are still sturdy. There is some loss of edges to the thin spiderweb tissue paper as shown in the photos but no writing or tears to the actual pages.
