Description: This is a Truetone car radio, from the 1936 Chevy. It is in fair condition, and will require restoration. The knobs are worn and cracked, but the tuner knob operates fine, with a wheel dial. One station buttons are fine. The metal casing has normal aging, but is very solid. A portion of a label is on the back. We have not opened this up, but there appear to be tubes on the inside. The dimensions are 11 1/2 x 6 x 6 inches. * Truetone was a brand produced by Detrola of Michigan, which made many radios for cars coming out of Detroit. This radio will be great for anyone restoring a 1930's or 40's era auto. This is a vary rare radio. If you have any questions please ask before you purchase.
