1930's Art Deco Central Glass Works Line 1450 Golden Sapphire (Yellow) Creamer

Description: This is a very rare creamer in the Golden Sapphire color from the 1450 line by Central Glass Works of Wheeling, West Virginia. It's in excellent used condition, with no chips, cracks, or scratches (the line you see on the underside of the creamer is a ripple in the glass, not a crack or scratch), and it measures 3" tall (see 8th photo) by 4 3/8" long (spout to handle). The Golden Sapphire color was first introduced in 1931 and Central Glass Works closed in 1939, so this creamer was made in this time period. Collector's Note: This creamer # 1450 by Central Glass Works appears (in black glass) on the cover of the book Great American Glass of The Roaring 20s & Depression Era (Book 1) by James Measell and Berry Wiggins and on page 271 of Book 2 (also shown in the black glass - the Golden Sapphire color is a very rare find).
