Description: This week I'm offering a number of old baseball cards for sale. In 1934, a unique set was issued, consisting of cards designed to be folded and popped-out along die-cut perforations to form a standing "3D" picture of a ballplayer. Each cards was issued in a variety of colors as well. The set, known as "Batter-Up," remains one of the more popular baseball card sets of the pre-WWII era. Here I have a card from the Batter-Up set, #72 featuring pitcher Fred Fitzsimmons of the New York Giants. This version of the card is purple in color. The card has been folded and "popped," with the background image on the upper half missing. The cards also has multiple creases. See scans for condition. Still, not too bad for a card that's almost ninety years old! This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $3.50 for First Class Mail, and postage will be combined for multiple winnings. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
