Click Photos to Enlarge Description Here is an original 88+ YEAR OLD 1936 VINTAGE (The serial number is N8696 and is had stamped on the cranks housing) ladies Schwinn "Excelsior' prewar bicycle FRAME ONLY! This one was born with 26" wheels and balloon tires. This one is COOL! With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! * Has lots of options to build, restore, rat rod, etc. Was painted green at some point but you can see the original blue paint in places AND the top bar EXCELSIOR graphic! Great for resto or build it as a hot rod or rat rod type bicycle! Bike was born with 26x2.125" balloon tires. Build it, restore it, display it, etc Lot of options with this one! *The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) *DIMENSIONS The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 21 1/2". The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably.
