Description: This is a complete steering box assembly Off of a 1940 9N Ford Tractor. It’s in fantastic shape. The only thing wrong with it is the threads that hold the steering wheel down are goofed up a-bit. I ran a 5/8 fine thread die down it and it cleaned up well and the new nut goes down nice and straight. I installed a new shifter pin in the transmission top also. I bead blasted this thing down to bare metal, primed, and painted it factory Ford red. The column bearings are in amazing shape and the teeth on the sectors and shaft are in amazing shape. I didn’t tear this box down because it doesn’t need anything, this box is good enough to go right on a restoration.
