Description: 1940's JENSEN (Bell & Howell) 12" SPEAKER. Speaker Reads 13.0 Ohms. Original CONE (# 3137-6) is INTACT and is in IMMACULATE Condition, NO RIPS-NO HOLES-NO TEARS (see pics). Date Code on side of frame is stamped C 4336 2. I could not find the 220 date code, it is possibly under the Bell & Howell magnet sticker. I know the C does not stand for Ceramic because those were not introduced until the 1960's. Info Welcome. This magnet is AlNiCo and is HEAVY! Speaker is tested and sounds as it should. No Rub. Frame has some areas where paint/exterior is worn (see pics). Magnet cover has "FUNGUS TREATMENT APPLIED MAR 21 45. This dates speaker to pre-March, 1945. Sale is for what is pictured only. 2 Pin Connectors on frame. Speaker wiring will need some modification for 1/4" use (see connector pics). Excellent Jensen Speaker.
