Description: Hello and welcome to another of my listings!! Today for your consideration is this fabulous circa 1940s Zodiac Incasecurit Hermetic military style men's wrist watch! This appears to be an early generation of the Hermetic series. This watch just had its mainspring replaced and was lubricated within the last year, keeps time within about a minute a day could do with a minor adjustment, although it doesn't bother me when wearing it. This watch is on the larger size for the era, more on par with the '60s than the '40s. The dial has discoloration that is fairly even, with a couple of small darker spots of radium burn where the hands must have set for a number of years. The hands have spotting to the lume on them, although the watch wears very well as a whole! The case is marked to be chrome plated and has some significant loss to the finish on the back sides and behind the lugs a bit with brass coming through. Overall a very handsome military style Zodiac men's watch from the 1940s that would make a great gift, fun daily wearer and or a fine addition to any collection!
