Description: ORIGINAL NOVEMBER 27, 1941 PHILADELPHIA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM - GAME BETWEEN WEST CATHOLIC AND WEST PHILADDELPHIA - GAME PLAYED SHORTLY BEFORE PEARL HARBOR ATTACK Up for auction is a November 27, 1941 High School Football Game Program for the Philadelphia High School Football Championship Played at Franklin Field. The game featured West Catholic versus West Philadelphia. This game was played a few short weeks before the Pearl Harbor Attack in Hawaii by Japan. This original program is in good used condition, considering its age and use. There are small tears throughout and the pages are lightly foxed. The late owner of this program was a resident of Philadelphia at the time. There are many advertisements and cartoons that provide a snapshot of life in the early 1940's before the US's entrance into World War II. I will happily provide more pictures - just ask.
