Description: This is a most impressive, carefully preserved original 1950 set that was originally sold at the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. While there's, of course, a modicum of centering problems along with the occasional minimal corner touches, the overwhelming majority of these cards are Near Mint+ or better with MANY being MINT or even Gem Mint. There's not a single crease anywhere in this set. The overall gloss is spectacular, and as fresh as could be. Also, please keep in mind that more than a couple of these cards have a totally legitimate chance at getting a Gem Mint 10 grade! This set includes the original packaging that it was sold in, and unsurprisingly, that's also in way above average condition. Please note that the raw Cobb that you see in one of these images is the only card not included as the one that was originally in this set IS the included PSA Mint 9. And of course, the way PSA has been lately, we expected that one to get a 10, which was why we sent it in. You may find a few of these sets for a hair less money, but I'd be genuinely surprised if you could actually find a better condition set of these, truly. I believe that four of these cards (Waner, etc.) were added to the original 61 cards in 1952. This IS the complete 65 card set for 1952. Later years saw the addition of other players that were added to the Hall. The last image shows the back of the Waner. Please notice the 1952 copyright date. I believe that three others are the rarer 1952 cards with all other cards dating from 1950.
