Description: 1950s MCM Glass ATOMIC Frosted STAR Snowflake CEILING Shade w/3 Bulb FIXTURE Here is a very complete totally working 3 light socket ceiling fixture with that awesome 1950s atomic look !!! Its a large glass shade and measures about 15 inches in diameter, height profile is about 3 inches, will hang about 6 inches when flush mounted to a ceiling with the included fixture which is probably original to the shade, anyway, that's how it was removed from an old house demolition. The brown mottled bakelite fixture is in great condition with only light surface rust in places, no chips or cracks to the glass shade, some edge roughness and a fleabite or 2 around the ground rim edge of the shade which is pretty typical, enamel design is in fine condition, no real scratches, no issues really, very clean too. It still has its original fabric wire insulation on the sockets so would suggest updating the electrical wiring within the fixture prior to using, however, I had no hesitation in plugging in and testing it out. Everything seems original to me, love that simple heavy solid brass finial for the shade, its a great look. Remember "Lights are the Jewels of the Home", bring this beauty of the past back into the future. What you see is what you get so please view all photos.
