Description: 1951 PFAFF 130 Sewing Machine Excellent Condition Works Ser. # 4479018 Made in Germany This is an awesome 1950s vintage heavy duty Ffaff 130 sewing machine with original case, foot pedal, instruction manual and accessories. I was able to thread it up and was able to sew straight and zigzag right off the bat. I had to splice on a new power cable as the one that came with the machine was deteriorated. The lamp that was installed in the machine still worked, and there seems to be a spare in the accessories box. There are seven or eight different feet for different applications and a strange accessory I do not recognize.The PFAFF motor was made in the USA. The operation seemed a little stiff compared to other machines that I have sold, so it may need some lubrication. There are a couple receipts indicating it was fully serviced in 1987. The case is in pretty good condition the latches are good considering that it is over 70 years old . I’m not sure if the handle on the cases are replacement or if it’s original. The machine itself waves over 45 pounds and with packing in shipping materials shipping weight is estimated to be about 50 pounds. Because of the cost of shipping, this heavy machine, returns it will not be accepted. So therefore it is being sold as is. I can’t do much about the shipping cost, so if you’re in California or Maine it’s going to be rather expensive, but if you’re in the Midwest, it should be reasonable. UPS in my experience has the best rates for these heavier items. Will also consider a local pick up.
