Description: 1956 ZENITH ROYAL 500 Transistor Radio - Hand-wired Burgundy - ZENITH’S FIRST! Very good vintage condition with tiny bit of light surface wear, and a bit of corrosion on one leg the brass wire stand. NO CRACKS OR CHIPS. It tunes in local channels with a little static-BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED. The leather case has no tears or damage, but is missing the shoulder strap and earphone. The booklet is dated DEC 26, 1956. I Have been told this is one of the earliest models of this particular transistor radio and was hand wired. It looks to have been handled with great care. I think it would be a handsome addition to any collection.
