Description: This listing is for a Vintage 1963 Fender Musicmaster or Duo Sonic Guitar Body. The body is from a 1963 Fender Musicmaster but will work for a Musicmaster or Duo Sonic. The specific way this body was routed will work for a Musicmaster or Duo Sonic made between roughly 1958 and 1964. The body appears to be alder and weighs 4 LBS. The body has been refinished in a nice sunburst finish. The refinish job looks very professional and the body has a great look to it. As you can see, the bridge pickup cavity has been routed and enlarged. The route appears to fit a full size humbucker pickup. The neck cavity is also slightly routed and englarged. I have included a few pictured with the original neck (Not Included) to show how the neck will still mount correctly in the neck pocket. Any correct scale length Fender Musicmaster or Duo Sonic neck will mount properly however there will be some extra space at the heel of the neck. I am not sure why the neck cavity was routed.The listing is just for the Musicmaster body. The pictures with the neck plate and neck are just for reference and are NOT included. This is a great body for someone looking to either restore a vintage Musicmaster or Duo Sonic or make their own custom project with a vintage body.Please look at the pictures and message with questions.
