Description: This is a circa 1964-1969 Kluson Double Line Double ring tuner correct for the "bass or E,A or D strings" side of a Gibson guitars such as Les Paul, SG, ES-335 among other possible guitars which the buyer can research to determine if correct for their needs. Please do you own research. These time frame Kluson tuners have a side tuner shaft worm gear hole present (see the pictures). They also have a "double line" style casing with "Kluson Deluxe" stamped in the tuner back. It has double rings on the tulip buttons. On the underside it is stamped "PATENT NO" and "D-169400". It is NICKEL in color. lt has wear from usage for a tuner about 60 years old. Please review pictures for condition as they are part of this description. This tuner shaft is bent some - see pictures. This particular tuner turns a little tight but not too bad and will hold string tension. It is a vintage tuner and as such, the buyer understands no warranty or guarantee for this tuner as it is sold "as is" with no returns because its about 55 years old. Some luthiers or people knowledgeable can perhaps make these older turners work better, straighten shafts and other helpful things but that is up to the buyer. I have been collecting and playing for close to 44 years and am getting rid of parts I've collected over time for projects and listing many such items so please see my other auctions which I'll be slowly listing. I've explained this to the best of my knowledge. Ask any questions and do necessary research on your own. Thanks for looking. Shipping is a flat rate of $8.00 in continental US (if outside same, contact me) and will be sent as soon as possible.
