Description: Handsome fold-out 1964 Conoco road map of Wyoming, printed more than 56 years ago. This map opens to 18" x 23" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. There are inset plans of Sheridan, Laramie, Casper, Cheyenne, and a map of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. The map was distributed by the Continental Oil Company in 1964 to promote its Conoco brand. It is dated in the legend, and the code number in the lower margin is 9-LL. The attractive scenic front-cover photograph shows a father and son fishing on one of the state's rivers. There's a Conoco logo and the slogan "Hottest Brand Going..." on the back cover. Condition: The map is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with no marks, rips, or tears. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. Buy with confidence!
