Description: Offered is this vintage book "The Naiad", the 1964 yearbook for Lander College (now University) in Greenwood, South Carolina. The book is filled with all of the usual college yearbook things; the students, of course, with photos, activities, sports, clubs, "campus cuties", etc., some campus photos, faculty, etc. The advertising section has ads for a variety of local and area-wide shops and businesses. This is a rare, maybe unique find; at the time of original listing I could not find another copy of this particular yearbook for sale on eBay or anywhere else. The yearbook is approx. 12 1/4" x 9 1/4" and contains 150 numbered pages, including an index to students. It is in good to very good condition. The burlap-look hard cover has almost no wear. It has a clear plastic cover over most of the surface, which has some light soiling. There is no cracking inside either the front or back covers. The photo endpapers are mostly clean. A previous owner has written their name inside the front. I see no missing or torn pages. They have browned slightly but are otherwise mostly clean. I see no writing in the book. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
