The car's hood was smoothed out, losing the scoops of the previous model-year and the front fenders received functional vertical exhaust vents. The interior saw minor updates to the dash and seating. Chevrolet introduced 4-wheel disc brakes and offered more engine options in '65 than previously available with the Corvette. This '65 Vette is one of only 2,157 produced with the L78 396ci/425hp V8. Of that number produced, only 759 were produced with side-exhaust. This '65, presented in Rally Red, with corresponding red interior, is an outstanding example of a rare build.
