Description: This is the 1965 Pontiac GTO that Danbury mint did in the mid 1990s. They contacted me, Dennis Kirban to line up this project. The car used belonged to Gary Cave. It is a very rare color Iris Mist. They wanted to change the color and I said not to do it, since it was a customer of mines car. They used my 1964 GTO for the under carriage. My 1964 GTO had a 1970 rear sway bar on it and they left that rear sway bar on the model. True story! I personally autographed the roof. Each one comes with certificate of authenticity that I did indeed autograph the car The Danbury mint produces some of the best detailed diecast. Reportedly over 150 parts! Hood doors trunk open. Each comes with what you see in the photo plus the original box and foam. I was inducted into the Prestigious Pontiac Hall of Fame in 2024. Our company started back in the late 1970s. We made the GTO splitters, the rally I wheels, the radiator shrouds just to name 3 of the over 75 GTO parts we made all made in the USA!!!! Less than 35 people have made it into the Pontiac Hall of Fame. Autographs with proof never go down in value. This one holds special meaning since I lined up the project for the Danbury Mint and followed the project from start to finish circa 1993.
