Click Photos to Enlarge Description Here is a rare original October 1968 SCHWINN STINGRAY 20" 3-speed STIK SHIFTER muscle bike! (KD Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This is one of the coolest bikes made by Schwinn! They look cool and are great riding bikes! *The bike is in the original and very appealing CAMPUS GREEN factory painted color. (Popular on the Pea Picker Krate bikes) The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, chrome fenders front and rear, cool rear sissy bar, Schwinn pedals, and so much more! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! The bike is an original 3-speed STICK SHIFT with operable hand controlled brakes. (no overload tube) The bike shifts and brakes. (Has been in very long term storage and will need fine tune adjustment) The seat is cool! I believe is a slightly newer replacement but looks really close. (has rips and age) This one has Schwinn S7 front rear and a cool Schwinn S2 rear! The tires hold air. The front is a whitewall Schwinn 20x1 3/4' (tread area is worn) The rear is a super cool Schwinn Stingray 20 2.125" SLIK tire! This one has the correct style 3-speed chainguard. (has a fresh decal) I believe this bike to be mostly original parts from when it was new. (See pics and be your own expert) *A fun bike to display, restore, or have fun with it in its current unrestored "rat rod" type patina! *Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. *NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. It has been in very long term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again. I LOVE original paint but has obvious chips scratches top bar paint loss, etc. The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. (wheel chrome is poor) Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) ENJOY! I took lots of pics and have nothing to hide.
