A total of eight [x 8] original vintage b/w gelatin silver prints on fibre-based photographic paper, all with typed captions to rear. Printed shortly after the time of the mission for press purposes. No watermarks on the underside of the photo paper. Size: (including white borders) - each approx. 10¼ x 8¼ in. Includes:[1] Six press photographs, circa 1971 [five with typed captions affixed to rear, one with facsimile typed caption to rear];[2] Two IPS press photos of the Moon's surface taken by Apollo 15, with caption on the same side as the image.Very Good condition overall, with a couple in Good only condition. Some pronounced age-toning / yellowing to a four images. Occasional minor creasing, including a few corners (Command and Service Module image with diagonal crease to top left corner, but which does not extend into the photo area.
