Description: Here we have a quality dress watch by Record, from their De Luxe line, dating to 1972. This is a no expense spared design with a high quality and heavy 9ct gold case, of standout design. The tonneau case design is an elegant play on the 1970s TV style watches, with hooded lugs, creating a lovely, chunky but elegant dress piece. The case measures 30mm x 38mm, remaining neat with a slim depth of 8.5mm. The crown is original and is signed “R” for Record. The dial is simple and elegant with a light silver base tone, with a lightly grained finish, date window and applied hour markers. The hands are a gold tone with the sweep central second. Inside is a semi hi-beat ETA 2622 automatic movement. It has sweep second and a date function and is keeping very accurate time. The dial is simple and elegant with a light silver base tone.
