Description: This listing is for a 10CA Ignition Point Set to fit models of the 1973-78 Triumph 750 Bonneville, Tiger T140V and TR7. Also used on the 1973 to 1977 Norton Commando 850 models. For Triumph owners, 1973 can be a tricky year. tTake note of the picture in this listing. These are 10CA points. Some early 1973 T140's used 6CA points. 10CA points use two (2) screws to hold one point set. 6CA points use one (1) screw. If you need 6CA points, we have those also listed. 6CA points were also used on the 1973 to 1977 Norton Commando 850 models. There are 2 parts in this kit. Part # 60600271 Daiichi Points, two sets. The points are manufactured in Japan. Some say this is not good because they are not genuine Lucas. Others say that is good because they are not genuine Lucas. Others say an electronic ignition is best. We have used all three types of ignitions. We prefer a points ignition over an electronic one. These points perform as good or better than Lucas, especially when Lucas points tend to be unavailable, and have "Japan" stamped on them. Please check your existing point set and/or part numbers for comparison with the pictures in this listing. The eBay compatibility list is not completely accurate.
