Description: This is for a lot of 21 Chicago Cubs photos taken during game one of the 1984 NLCS vs the San Diego Padres at Wrigley Field on October 2, 1984. The photos are 4” x 6” and were taken by a friend of mine. The photos include; pregame lineups and Larry Bowa shaking hands with Steve Garvey during warmups, Ernie Banks running out of the dug out and standing on the pitchers mound for the ceremonial first pitch and Ernie’s recently retired #14 flag, Bob Dernier, Gary Matthews and Rick Sutcliffe touching home plate after hitting a home run, Leon Durham playing first base, Rick Sutcliffe on the mound, a number of Cubs batting including Ryne Sandberg, Leon Durham, Ron Cey, Jody Davis, Gary Matthew’s and Keith Moreland and two Padres, Greg Nettles and Steve Garvey, batting. These photos are unique and one of a kind! There is also a black and white photo of Rick Sutcliffe leading off first base that I will include.
