Description: This listing is for a Vintage 1985 Guild Bluesbird. This is a rare guitar from the Bluesbird lineage. All stock and original with 3 Single coil EMG pickups and Kahler locking trem. AMAZING condition for a guitar of this vintage. You will find some pick scratching and the EMG logo is worn slightly off the pickups, but overall this guitar is stupidly clean. None of the dents and dings that would be commonly associated with a 40+ year old guitar. Neck is excellent, showing a little fretwear, but it plays great and there is plenty of life left in the frets. Slight checking around the fretboard (pictured) as is common for guitars of this age. Awesome ebony fretboard with the deluxe inlays. Comes with a Taylor T5 hard case and trem bar that is chrome rather than black, but still the proper bar for the Kahler. If you are into older Guilds as I am, this one is a rare find. You will not see many of this model in this vintage period, much less in this type of condition.
