1990-91 OPC Premier Set, Complete, Cards 1-132, Excellent condition

Description: This listing is for the complete 1990-1991 O-Pee-Chee Premier set, cards 1-132. Although the hockey card hobby respects this set, most hobbyists do not. In early 1991, when this product was released, the most expensive product on the market was the inaugural release of Upper Deck, which was going for $1-$1.50/pack… you could get a box for about $30 or so. Then came OPC Premier, at $2/pack… a box for $65 or so… and like many, I was like “WTF… $2 a pack for OPC?!” Half as many cards in a box as Upper Deck, Bowman, Topps and OPC?? Plain white stock cards… no holographics, foils, memorabilia, autographs, etc. and this small set has a higher value than many larger base sets! Actually, many current sets have to have very limited card groups (rookies essentially) to compete!! This set, worth typically over $100, contains several decently valued rookies: Jagr ($50), Roenick ($10), Fedorov ($8), Joseph, Modano, Sundin and Blake (all $6); Greztky, Roy and Lemieux ($5 and up each); and numerous others at $3+!! I purchased a large lot of broken factory sets some years ago… most of the $$$ cards were gone. After combining the sets, and with the inventory I had, I was able to build a couple dozen sets. Although they are in a factory set box, I still had to add the missing cards, so the set IS NOT FACTORY! Beckett value for this set is $125 for a top quality hand-collated set. Factory sets go as high as $200. Shipping, as listed, is only to the lower 48 states.
