Description: This incredible hand-blown art glass vase was made in 1992 by Andiamo. Husband and wife artists Robert Spielholz and Kathleen Hargrave formed Andiamo Glass Design in 1986 in Redmond, Washington, creating unique works of contemporary art glass in vibrant, beautiful colors. With a sheer, subtle dusty pink background, this large oval-shaped piece features primary colors of bold blue, bright pumpkin and circles of green and white that are reminiscent of a peacock's feathers. The vase's other designs are open to your interpretation (at times, I see fish under the sea). In exceptional condition, this vase has no chips, no cracks and minimal scratches. The only flaws to mention are a few bubbles that are original to its production and expected (see last photo), and a few slight scratches (see 2nd to last photo for the most obvious example). In addition, there are some signs of wear on the vase's underside and faint cloudiness in one area of the sheer pink glass. "Andiamo 1992 No. 218" is incised on the bottom of this hefty, stunning piece.
