Description: 1995 commemorative reproduction Scottsdale Anser New Old Stock. With headcover. "This is a 1995 commemorative reproduction of the Scottsdale Anser. There were 20,000 made, 10,000 featuring the flat sole and 10,000 made featuring the rocker sole like the one in this picture. Serial numbers ending in even numbers were flat sole Ansers and odd numbers being rocker sole Ansers. These were distributed to green grass golf accounts through out the Ping network. These retailed $150 back in 1995. Terrific putter, in fact Payne Stewart used a flat soled version of the reproduction to win the 1995 Houston Open. Of course, an original Scottsdale Anser sold for over $4,000 back then. A pristine original Scottsdale Anser could have fetched upwards to $6,000 or more at that time." (Looks to be New Old Stock). I purchased this from the “mothballed” inventory of an old golf shop that went out of business years ago.
