Description: ** RELIST DUE TO BUYER UNABLE TO GET FINANCING**. 10/23. Reduced for quick sale and making space for new car. Selling our mother’s beloved conversion van, purchased new in the summer of 1997 from Les Stanford Chevy in Dearborn MI. The van stayed within city limits since new. In sense, a True diamond in the rough as I was going to do a light restoration with paint and wheels (tailgate van) but have to concentrate on my home is the only reason why I’m selling the van. 44500 original 1 owner miles from new and no accidents! Conversion was modified by the renown EXPLORER Co. in Warsaw Indiana and is the Limited SE trim package. Powered by a Chevy 350 and four speed automatic with a 3.42 rear gear for highway cruising. Interior is immaculate and like a time capsule from the captain chairs in the first two rows to the plush carpeting throughout. Ambient lighting with plenty of storage behind the gloss wood cabinetry. Slight headliner sag at rear passenger corner in the rear (just needs adhesive). Rear air control currently not working and just haven’t bothered to investigate. Huge rear area folds into a bed for 2 at a press of a button. Exterior is all original and does have some marks and scratches mainly on the passenger side rear door (dented) and was caused from my elderly father putting his riding mower back into the garage. Ground effect/side step will need repair or replacement and looks like it took the worst of it. (He used duct tape for temp fix but had corroded off. Some clear coat fading mainly on the high top and some near doors and pillars. Suffs, marks showing around front bumper and rear bumper (appears to be bumper covers) and underneath are the OEM Chevy express bumpers. Mechanically .Drives, shifts, brakes and rides like a newer van. Cruise control and accessories work with the exception of the Power door lock which only locks the doors but won’t unlock and no longer have the key fobs as they were lost. Just had our long time mechanic inspect everything and ended up replacing a new ECM (flashed) and Fuel Pump (OEM), distributor cap and AC was recharged, Tires are recommended to be replaced soon as they show dry rot, drove fine at 75mph over the weekend. Inspections are welcomed and can assist with delivery as I have a fairly open schedule. Feel free to reach out with any questions. Clean Michigan Green Title In Hand. UPDATE :*** NEW GOODYEAR WRANGLER TRAILRUNNER TIRES INSTALLED and 4 wheel alignment performed on 12/16 at Belle Tire in Troy MI. *** UPDATE:Very minimal surface rust underneath and rust free on the body including rockers, door jambs and anywhere else visually, hard to say for any vehicle raised in MIchigan and can thank the ZIEBART rust protection performed when new (forgot to mention this key factor in original posting)
